Here is a simple demo of the default slideshow from Lightroom. It should open in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which will probably ask you if it's OK to view full screen.

The English-language version of Photoshop Lightroom will debut at the special introductory price of $199. After April 30, 2007, the normal retail price of $299 will come into effect. (Adobe is proud to support the efforts of teachers and students, who may purchase Photoshop Lightroom 1.0 for $99.)

Best way to store digital images?
I appologize if this subject has already been discussed. Just wondering how you all are storing/backing up your images? CDs, DVDs, hard drives? Jewel cases or wallet-album things? Where do you store the CDs or DVDs themselves?

Not sure I mentioned it, but Microsoft bought iView Media this year, and they have just announced the new product line. It will all be shipping Spring 07.

Need Help with RAW files
I recently shot some pictures with my Canon 5D in RAW mode, and when I downloaded them onto my computer, I can't open them. They have a .CR2 extension, and even though I have Photoshop CS and have accessed RAW images from my 10D before, I can't open these. Hopefully someone has some insight!! I really need to open these pics!

Photoshop Tip #2 - Moving and Copying Layer Masks
You have made a mask for a layer, and now you have a second adjustment layer that you want to use that same mask for. There's no need to build the mask a second time ... just copy it from the first layer: hold down the alt or option key, click once on the mask you want to use and drag it to the new layer. Shutter Lag/RAW
Does anyone know of a good point and shoot that has a short shutter lag time? Also, are there any decent point and shoots that will shoot in RAW? I'm not even sure one exists but would like to hear from you on this. Thanks!
