Bald Eagles Part II
Another great morning. Yesterday I was working from the truck; shooting from the driver's seat (hey, it was cold!). Today was a balmy 29, so I got the tripod out and went to work. I think the ice may start to part this week, so it will be back to working for a living:-}

These are great, and yeah, definitely would be worth getting up and out for. I like this a lot and the 3 of them, where it looks like a fish got away. Lucky for him, at least for a little while :)
Thanks Donn. I ended up with a few that will go in the portfolio. Going out again tomorrow to the location where I shot the eagle perched on the log.

Have fun :) For the log photo, you might try a square crop, but still have the bird be in the upper right, somewhere are around the "thirds" point. See if you like it better.

Thanks Donn. I was playing with this some more and what you see is a new crop with the eagle at the top-right third. Also used the direct positive setting in Lightroom and got a bit better separation.
