How come you guys are selling a 1D mkIII already?

I don't like the 1D mk III as much as I like the 5d and the 1Ds mk 2. I like the full frame better. The 1D mk III is a great camera though -- I seem to be the only one that doesn't like it!

I've been thinking about finally stepping up to a 1-series for awhile. I could really use the expanded ISO range on the high end for things like high school baseball under bad lights and dimly-lit conference rooms. Yours is definitely tempting me...

So far, I've been held back from buying new by all the bad press about focus issues, but it seems like maybe things are starting to get resolved. Even if some still feel the 1DmkII is better, either would be a step up for me from a well-worn 20D!!

I could see why the full frame cameras are better for what you do though... me, I need all the extra reach I can get!

I am definitely thinking about it if you haven't sold it already... it's just quite a financial investment for a part-time freelancer! I probably need to think about it a little more and check back with you.
