Drought Breaker
Well as people may or may not know Australia has been going through a decade long drought with some towns actually completely running out of water. At the moment the water restrictions allow only 140 litres of water per person per day total. (28 gallons per person per day total) So originally my idea for this assignment was to show a dam that has dried up and all of the ground round it is cracked and broken. Well....... The last 2 weeks I have been in the Victorian Highcountry and have seen 2 different floods in 2 states and had 395mm (15.5 inches) of rain in 36 hours. Yep I was also at altitude for the opening of snow season and they had over 1 meter (3.3 feet) of snow in that same period. So I am now submitting this as my liquid idea for the assignment.
