Exterior Technique
Been a bit about shooting exteriors lately, so I had to check my notes/files. This technique is something that Craig talked about and it works for sunset and sunrise. In this particular case sunrise was camera right and quartering, so I thought I would get better detail.
Original:
About 20 minutes prior to sunrise.

- Exposed for highlights
Final:
Curves for shadows
White Point for warmth
Crop
And you can mask the sky pretty quick so you can keep the deeper blue. Did not do that with this one.
