Forgotten Leaves
Fall is and always will be the changing leaves to me. Sorry if its not original enough, but nothing about trees changing color is dull to me! I just love it. This is a picture of the sort of 'forgotten leaves', the ones that get raked up. But I like it when they are not raked up too fast.
Growing up in the Midwest has meant some great Fall color for me too. Probably why I feel the same way. Although this Fall was not the best I have seen in our area. I do have a shot of a frosted leaf that I need to upload. Yes, I actually did my own assignment. And I would not worry about originality too much as the monthly assignment is meant to keep the creative spark flowing, and to push folks to share their work. So thanks for that.
As for this shot - I like the focus on the green grass poking it's way up through the leaves. The rest is classic Maple color. Nice job.
